About Me
My journey into the world of painting began in design school, inspired by my teacher, Tom Hopkins, and his captivating large canvases and expressive brushstrokes. As an interior designer and artist, I believe artwork brings the final touch of beauty to any space.
In 1992, influenced by my grandfather, an artist from Budapest, and my mother's artistic pursuits, I began painting classes. Initially working with oils, I soon discovered my affinity for acrylics, appreciating their quick-drying nature.
Painting is more than a hobby; it's a means of self-expression. I don't have a traditional studio; my kitchen is where I tune into the radio and lose myself in creation, allowing my mind and brush to lead the way. My approach focuses on composition, color, and balance, intuitively blending these elements on the canvas.
I continuously explore and learn, drawing inspiration from artists both past and present. My art is an ongoing journey of expanding creativity and self-discovery.
